Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Downtown Marketers (“we”, “us”) operates downtownmarketers.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit a form or book a call, we collect your name, email address, website, company name, phone number, marketing budget range, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Information collected automatically. Our site uses Google Tag Manager and analytics tools that collect device type, browser, pages viewed, approximate location, and how you arrived at the site, using cookies and similar technologies.
  • Booking information. If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.

How we use it

  • To prepare and deliver the free audit you requested and to contact you about it.
  • To respond to your questions and provide services you engage us for.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To measure the performance of our own advertising, including through Google and Meta advertising tools.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our website host, form and email providers, Calendly, Google, and Meta, each of which processes it under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the site work. Google’s advertising and analytics cookies can be managed at adssettings.google.com, and Meta’s at facebook.com/ads/preferences.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the length of our engagement plus the period required for business and tax records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
